I am on my own with a new friend and lover. He's more than I expected and surprises me sometimes. I don't expect roses at every turn. I don't expect him to think he has to be something he's not. I only expect the same respect, trust, surprise and passion that I give to him. I think that's what everyone wants from life and love.

So now, since I have shocked the b'jeebers out of everyone, I just want you to know I am not the same woman I was a year ago when I updated this site. I am more in control of myself, more focused on my life and that of my child, and more determined to be the lover and friend I should be .
